The 10th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death

As the 10th anniversary of Princess Dianas death approaches,her family and fans prepare to pay tribute.When Princess Diana was killed on Aug.31,1997, the world stopped and wept.Ten years later,the sound of weeping will again be heard as billions around the globe remember one of the most beloved icons of the 20th century.Like Marilyn Monroe,Elvis Presley and JFK before her,we just cannot forget Diana and her legacy.This summer,as the clock ticks down to the 10th anniversary of Dianas death,a swarm of books,Tv shows,Souvenirs,Exhibitions and even a ballet about her life areset to illuminate onve again the legend that is the Princess.The memory of Diana will be honored by her sons,Prince William and Prince Harry,With a star-studded concert at Wembley Stadium in London on July 1,which would have been her 46th birthday.Harry,22,is scheduled to be serving in the British army in Iraq at the time,but will come home for the event.Its thought that the Princess will appear onstage at some point in what will surely be a memorabole and emotional moment.Tv tributes in Britain will include a documentary entitled Dianas Last Day the will stir up controversy by showing never before seen paparazzi photographs of the crash scene in the paris underpass.Simon Shaps,the director of television for ITV,the channel broadcasting the show defended the use of the images.Through the lens of home videos shot by the public.Yet one more documentary will focus on the Princess turbulent relationship with the paparazzi.
