Winner of Six Grammy Awards Justin Timberlake came to fame as one of the lead singers of “N Sync. Since his early age Justin stood out in the crowd as a singer and a dancer he made his first TV appearance on Star Search. In 1992 he became an idol to kids worldwide by joining the Mickey Mouse Club. During this time Justin met future girlfriend Britney Spears and tour mate Christina Aguilera.

In 1995 Justin joined his talent along with Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and J.C. Chaves to form the band Nsync. In 2000 with the release of the album “No Strings Attached” Nsync exploded all record sales in a week. Timberlake declared hating the show business. Justin Timberlake hated the hidden face of this world that was only lies. After much success with Nsync Justin went on to start his solo career.

Timberlake released his second solo album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, on September 12, 2006. The album, which Timberlake created in 2005, debuted in the number one position on the Billboard 200 album chart, selling 684,000 copies its first week. Justin Timberlake music ranks as one of the highest MP3 downloads online as he continues to hit the charts with number one hits. FutureSex/LoveSounds is the biggest album for pre-orders on iTunes, and beat Coldplay’s record for the biggest one-week sales of a digital album. The album was produced by Timbaland and Danja (who produced a bulk of the album), will.i.am, Rick Rubin and Timberlake himself, and features guest vocals by Three 6 Mafia, T.I. and will.i.am.

Even if everything here is complete bunk, we can’t keep our eyes off of the veritable train wreck that our favorite celebrities treat us to on a daily basis. So, we scoured the rumor mills and gossip columns to bring to you the latest in who is doing what, who is doing who, who is going to jail and everything in between. So sit back, grab your box of bon bons and enjoy the latest from the music celebrity rumor mills.

Busta Rhymes, are you getting a fair shot? TMZ.com reports that he was stopped by police and admitted to having a shot of Hennessy before hopping behind the wheel of his Denali. The arrest report that TMZ obtained stated that Rhymes failed the sobriety test, but only blew a 0.067 later at the police station, which is below the legal limit of 0.08. He was reportedly charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle while impaired.

Even though Paris Hilton really isn’t much of a music celebrity, she made the celebrity gossip hit list by getting sentenced to 45 days in jail for driving with a suspended license. She had the nerve to show up to court 20 minutes late powdering her nose. The judge put the clueless blonde in her place by sending her to the clinker.

Pete Wentz reportedly left a little gift for Marilyn Manson at the rehearsal space that they share – a vial of his blood. What the?

It seems that American Idol sweetheart, Kelly Clarkson is slipping in the ranks. Her comeback isn’t going so great while fellow Idol veteran, Carrie Underwood in consistently outperforming Kelly on internet download charts.

A lot of hoo ha for a lip synched performance. Britney Spears (a.k.a. the rehab boomerang queen) recently “performed” at the House of Blues in Downtown Disney, Anaheim. And we use the word “perform” loosely. The sign outside said: NO cell phones, NO cameras, NO video. Hmmm, didn’t say anywhere on there “NO LIVE SINGING!”

OK, am I like the only one who says ENOUGH ABOUT BRITNEY?!!! She just isn’t that interesting.

The longest retirement in music history. Barbara Streisand, in perpetual “retire” mode, will be touring in Europe. And then that’s the very last one – again!

More American Idol dish. Jessica Sierra who was a former AI top ten finalist, apparently hit a guy with a glass, had cocaine on her person and, now this is interesting, is being charged with “the introduction of contraband into a detention facility.” Good grief! We don’t want to go there!

Looks like Courtney Love is planning on selling her late husband’s things. What better way to memorialize her hubby? She plans to pair up with Christie’s auction to put Kurt Cobain’s stuff up for sale. She plans to “make a lot of money and give a bunch of it to charity.” Uh, OK.

Ah, Boy George, did you really want to hurt him? Rumor has it that Boy George hired an escort, grabbed the poor guy and chained him to a wall. He handcuffed the poor little escort guy to the bed and produced a box of BDSM whips and sex toys, telling the terrified escort guy, “Now you’ll get what you deserve.” Nobody died, escort guy got away and Boy George was charged with assault and false imprisonment. The ’80s were a tough time.

Not her first bizarre public unscripted appearance, though.

Send that girl to driver’s ed! TMZ is reporting that they have recently acquired a lawsuit that was filed by the husband of the woman who was killed in a car accident that involved former pop princess Brandy. This is her second lawsuit on that accident. The suit claims that Brandy was traveling too fast for conditions, driving recklessly and carelessly and following too closely. The suit is for an “undisclosed amount,” but the woman’s parents are suing Brandy for million. If this is any indication of what the husband is seeking, that girl needs to hire a chauffeur or stay off of the road.

Well, this is definitely a “hmmmm” moment and conjures up some interesting (if not disturbing) mental pictures. PerezHilton.com has some juicy info. It seems that passionate sister kissing James Haven, brother to multiple foreign kids adopting, blood vial wearing Angelina Jolie, is seeing Rebecca St. James. Now, if you are not moving in “those” circles you may not realize that St. James is a Christian pop singer. You also may not realize that she is a huge advocate for saving yourself until marriage and abstinence. Well, well, what is ol’ Jimmy thinking about that? Maybe Angie will adopt her and then it will be OK.

Now, we want to leave you with this warm, fuzzy mother and son moment.

TMZ says that Rush & Malloy says that Usher is preparing to fire his own mother, the woman who GAVE HIM LIFE, raised him and has been his manager from the very start. They reportedly do not get along, but it is said that Usher’s stylist and (surprise) fiance, Tameka Foster is egging it on. Usher’s rep is denying the rumor, but let’s face it, this seems like it happens more than we’d care to admit.

There is an endless stream of gossip flowing out of the lives of everyone, it’s just that the famous peeople’s are the best!

If you want to stay in the public eye these days, making music just isn’t enough. There’s no such thing as bad publicity so as long as you can fill your year with as much nonsense as possible, then we’ll write about you. Here is CUE Music Database’s countdown of the most talked about musical acts of 2008, starting at number 5.

5. Oasis

Another busy year for the Manchester lads started with Noel Gallagher feeling inclined to sell his Ibiza home since James Blunt had moved in next door. A whole host of festival appearances, collaborations and, of course, a new album, gave Oasis all the attention they deserve and we all remember Noel’s opinion about Jay-Z appearing at Glastonbury! Other notable moments include Noel getting attacked on stage in Canada and the band sacking their 74th drummer.

4. Coldplay

It’s amazing that the band that nothing ever happens to are in there at number 4. Officially voted as the band most likely to send you to sleep they manage to make headline after headline by just telling us what they think of other bands. We don’t care! Ironically, it seems Chris Martin’s music doesn’t have the same effect on him as it is revealed he has a sleeping pill problem (allegedly). Apart from storming out of the odd interview and being accused of plagiarism left right and centre and donating a piano to a flooded school and selling skip-loads of records, nothing happened to Coldplay this year.

3. Amy Winehouse

Right then, now we’re getting to the nitty gritty end of things. Apart from the fact that Back to Black has been the most played album in our house this year (by my wife) I’ve got nothing against Miss Winehouse. Seems everyone else does though, so the year has been littered with stories of drugs, self-abuse, vodka snorting, naked photos, rehab, court cases, assault, adultery etc. Think of the opposite of Cliff Richard and you have it.

2. Britney Spears

And here’s where it starts to get difficult squeezing a year of someone like Britney into one paragraph. First she goes a bit “mental” and has her sons taken away from her. Then it turns out that everyone else is mental too so everyone gets a restraining order. Apart from her Dad who gets control of everything she owns cos she’s not fit. But she’s well enough to record an album and do some rather dodgy performances get her kids back and now suddenly everything’s hunky dory. Yeah right.

1. Madonna

Yes, you’d never have guessed it, Madonna’s the number 1 in our Notoriety Awards. She’s not here to collect her award in person so let’s just take a look at her year. Malawi child adoption case, release of Hard Candy album, A-Rod “affair”, divorce Guy Ritchie, produce film, give Guy Ritchie anything between £50 million and £100 million depending on who you believe and lowest charting single in over 20 years. Yes, despite all the attention, Madonna’s “Miles Away” charted at number 39 in the UK, making it her least successful single since 1984. Still, she is 50 years old now.

Music rivalries have been around since the phenomenon of music videos and MTV. Whether it be because some talents get big at the same time or some friends come from completely different coasts, musical feuds can be controversial, good press, or in some cases, deadly. Some rivalries were false claims by the media while others were simply marketing tactics and reputation control. In the words of Slim Shady himself..

“ First of all you don’t know Marshall, at all so don’t grow partial, That’s ammo for my arsenal, I’ll slap you off that bar stool. There goes another lawsuit, good lordy-wody you must be gone off that water bottle, you want what you can’t have..”

Here is a list of some of the most famous musical rivalries of our time.

1. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones: Both bands are from England, both became highly popular in the 1960’s and believe it or not, all band members are friends.

2. Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera: Both began their careers as a Mouseketeer on The Mickey Mouse Club, both got super famous in the mid-90’s, and both singers have alarmed the media with controversy and sex appeal.

3. Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan: Both stars are recognized as Disney-film actresses, both make music that is considered “throwaway pop,” and both got famous at the same time. Oh yeah, both of these ladies also dated Aaron Carter, nice.

4. Moby and Eminem: Well, they are both extremely popular white musicians, they both have a funny look about them, and they both think the other is obsessed them.

5. Guns n’ Roses and Poison: Both bands got major press in the 1980’s, all band members have long, frizzy hairdos, and both play intoxicating mixes of hard rock and roll.

6. Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls: This is probably the most explosive not to mention bloodiest fued in music and hip hop history. These guys used to be friends but they are both hard up gangsters, they’re from opposite coasts, and both leave behind a legacy of fame crushed by violence.
