In this new album, Britney left a dark phase of her life which was reflected in her previous album ‘Blackout’. ‘Circus’ is a bit lighter and very much pop compared to ‘Blackout’. Her hard work paid off when she won three awards at the VMAs last year. She was quoted as feeling very surprised and excited as she has never won a VMA before winning three last year alone.

Though there seemed to be streams of other gossips looming around on her private life, she ignores them as she feels that she has matured a lot over the past few years. She believes that all the things that she has gone through has made her stronger and more excited about the future to come.
